Elisefarm Golf Club was designed by Martin Hawtree, England and officially opened in 2005 by Henrik Stenson and Louise Stahle. A third-generation golf course architect, Hawtree has extensive experience in both new course design and the careful restoration of classic layouts such as Lahinch, Royal Birkdale, and Royal Melbourne. He has also designed Vallda Golf & Country Club in Kungsbacka and Simon’s Golf Club in Helsingør, Denmark. More recently, Hawtree was commissioned by Donald Trump for a project in Aberdeen, Scotland, to create what has been described as “the world’s best golf course.”
Martin Hawtree took great care to integrate the existing landscape, resulting in a layout defined by his signature bunkers and green complexes. The design also reflects the heritage of a classic British golf course, deeply rooted in the game’s history. Challenging yet enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels, it promises a memorable experience immersed in both nature and sport. The course is a par 72, stretching 5,609 meters from the yellow tees. From the black (6,444m), white (6,039m), or blue (5,263m) tees, it retains championship-level standards. Since its inauguration in 2005, Elisefarm has hosted numerous major national and international golf tournaments.
Elisefarm is today a private golf facility, set in scenic terrain with stunning views of Lake Ringsjön. The course winds its way through gently rolling countryside, bordered by traditional stone walls and featuring strategically placed water hazards. The greens are built to USGA standards and sown with traditional English fescue, making them playable almost year-round. Elisefarm has on several occasions been awarded “Sweden’s Best Golf Package” by *Golf Digest* and has been ranked number two on the list of “Sweden’s Best Golf Hotels.”

A spacious parking area is available immediately upon entering Elisefarm, conveniently located next to the driving range. Alternatively, you can follow the driveway for about 150 meters and park near the manor and the west wing, where you’ll find the front desk, restaurant, and changing rooms.
