Elisefarm – One of Sweden’s best golf courses!

The golf course received the award “One of Europe’s best new golf courses” after three years by the American magazine Golfers Magazine.

How hard can it be? We do not bother with it, everyone can learn to play golf. On two afternoons we provide you with a basic technique for the most common types, knowledge of the most common rules and golf vets as well as the opportunity to play on the golf course. Then you can become “Try on a member” so you can develop at your own pace.

The Golf Course

Elisefarm is a private golf resort, built on a terrain with a fantastic view of Lake Ringsjön. The holes meander along stone farms in a small hilly landscape and with elements of strategic water obstacles. The greens are built according to USGA norms and sown with the traditional English grass varieties of redwing, making them playable almost all year round.

The golf course was designed by Martin Hawtree, England and was inaugurated in 2005 by Henrik Stenson and Louise Stahle. Hawtree is a third-generation golf course designer and has experience in both new construction and gentle renovation of old golf course closets such as Lahinch, Royal Birkdale, and Royal Melbourne. Hawtree has also designed Vallda GK in Kungsbacka and Simons Golf Club in Helsingör, Denmark. For some time now, Hawtree has been hired by Donald Trump in a project in Aberdeen, Scotland to build “the world’s best golf course”.

Martin Hawtree has taken great account of existing surroundings and the course layout is characterized by his significant bunkers and green areas. The design also features classic signs of a British golf course – deeply rooted in the game’s history. The course is challenging and gives all players, regardless of playing strength, a fun and memorable golf and nature experience. The course has par 72 and measures 6011 meters from the yellow tee. From white and blue tee it holds championship class.

We have 10 minutes between the balls to relieve the stress and at the same time achieve faster golf rounds by avoiding unnecessary waiting times. Forget that change in the car and throw yourself out on the first tee with the breath in your neck, instead enjoy a good lunch and work out a little before the round if you feel like it. Both members and guests can book time in the “Sweetspot” app.

Competitions & Activities

During the year we organize a number of competitions for members and guests. We have 5 different tees, which makes the course suitable for both competition and social games.
